Academy for Family Empowerment, Inc. (AFE) is a licensed therapeutic Family Preservation Agency founded in 2003 by Adenise Henry-Simmons, Chief Executive Officer. AFE strives to be a premier counseling agency in the state of Georgia.  Our primary goal is to promote the safety and well-being of children and families through the provision of supportive family services. At AFE, we strive to improve and empower the lives of children, youth, adults, and families by focusing on their strengths and on solutions.

Our Staff

Academy for Family Empowerment, Inc. has professionally trained staff that are dedicated and diverse in the mental health field. Our staff is committed to providing quality services utilizing outcome-focused clinical interventions.

Our Funding:
AFE currently accepts Medicaid/Peachcare (to include CMO’s), Private Insurances, and private payment. Consumers may also pay out of pocket based on a sliding scale.
